ISLAND TIME PARTY RENTALS

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to supply?

Power Source Info: The number one thing you'll need to provide is a dedicated electrical outlet for the machine. Our machines require a standard 110 outlet that is not on the same circuit breaker as another large appliance. Each frozen drink machine pulls 15 amps and requires its own outlet / circuit.  Each machine must be located within 25 feet of the power source / outlet.

You provide the liquor: Even though our daiquiris are great non-alcoholic, if you like your drinks with kick we ask that you provide the alcohol. If you have the alcohol when we deliver the machine, we will mix everything up for you when we set up the machine. You generally need to supply 3 to 3 ½ liters of liquor per batch.

How do I operate the machine?

The daiquiri machines are very easy to operate. When we drop the machine off, we will mix everything up and make sure the machine is working properly before we leave. We also give you a quick rundown of everything you'll need to know about operating the machine. All you basically need to know is what setting to put the machine on and when to turn it off at the end of the day, nice and easy.

How long does it take to freeze?

It takes 30 to 90 minutes to freeze depending on the machines rented and where they are located (inside vs. outside locations). Please note that outdoor machines MUST be located in the shade.

How long is the rental for?

Typically the rental period is one full day. We try to deliver the machine at least two to three hours before your event starts. This way, we can set everything up and be out of your hair well before the event starts. If we are delivering to a park or rented event space sometimes the machines may need to be picked up right after the party but this is on a case by case basis. Usually, we will deliver the same day as your party and pick up the machine the next morning.

What if it looks like I will run out of frozen drinks?

We leave an extra batch of daiquiri mix on consignment. This way, if the machine starts to run low, you have the opportunity to mix up a new batch and keep the party going! Leaving mix on consignment is free and we will only charge you $25 for the mix if you open it. Don’t forget to have extra liquor on hand, too!

How far ahead should I reserve a machine?

We typically recommend 4 weeks in advance or longer for holidays. Want one for Cinco de Mayo? Better reserve it now!

As long as we have a machine available, we can usually take care of you as long as you book a few days ahead. However, just to be safe, the earlier you reserve the better.

Do you have weekly or monthly rates?

We sure do! Give us a call for more information!

Did I forget anything?
